RAINS
RAINS is the AE modular adaption of Mutable Instruments' Rings module, a well known module in the Eurorack world which has received praise for its versatility and high-quality sound..
RAINS is designed to simulate the behaviour of strings, membranes, and tubes, and allows users to control various aspects of the synthesis process, such as the material and tension of the simulated object, as well as the excitation source and the way it is applied to the object. The module offers different modes that allow users to create a wide range of sounds, from realistic acoustic simulations to more abstract, synthetic timbres. It can operate in a monophonic, dual voice or four voice polyphonic mode.
All parameters can be CV controlled, of course, with attenuverters for the CV inputs.
