TUBE-VU
TUBE-VU is a module for simply displaying the levels of two audio channels, but in a quite fancy and vintage style - with indicator tubes, also known as "magic eye". They were used as tuning indicator for radios starting around 1930. Technically completely obsolete now, they bring a wonderful vintage appeal to your AE modular, however.
Please note: This module works with quite high voltages inside for driving the tubes; and also with a quite high current consumption of around 600mA (more than a mid-sized complete AE modular system!) So it's recommended to use a separate 9V power supply adapter for this module. (Technical background: the higher internal voltage is derived by a DC-DC converter circuit).
